Special Olympics wouldn’t exist today without the time, energy, commitment, and enthusiasm of its volunteers. They are coaches, elite athletes, trainers, artists, officials, event organizers, fundraisers, and managers.
They can also be Unified Partners—playing alongside athletes with intellectual disabilities—or fans cheering from the stands.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and their commitments can range from an afternoon to a lifetime. They help bring out the champion in every Special Olympics athlete.
