Unified Champion Schools Coach Training
On May 5, 2026, Special Olympics Morocco reached a new milestone in the expansion of its Unified Champion Schools program by launching an ambitious initiative to reach 35% of schools across the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region.
As part of this first phase, 11 coaches completed a dedicated training program designed to prepare them for implementing Unified Champion Schools within their respective schools. The training equipped participants with the knowledge and tools needed to promote inclusion through sport and encourage meaningful participation among young people with and without intellectual disabilities.
The Unified Champion Schools program helps create more inclusive learning environments by promoting Unified Sports, youth leadership, and a culture of respect, equality, and belonging throughout the school community.
This training marks the beginning of a large-scale initiative that will expand the program’s impact across the region and provide even more students with the opportunity to grow in an inclusive school environment. Through this initiative, Special Olympics Morocco reaffirms its commitment to building schools where every student belongs and every young person has the opportunity to thrive.
