Green Run for Inclusion

On April 24, 2026, Special Olympics Morocco organized the Green Run for Inclusion in Bouskoura, bringing together more than 260 participants, including athletes with intellectual disabilities, their families, volunteers, and partners, with a shared goal of promoting inclusion through sport.

The event featured a 2-kilometer run, providing participants with an opportunity to celebrate teamwork, determination, and solidarity. Throughout the event, the athletes demonstrated endurance, resilience, and outstanding sportsmanship, highlighting the important role of sport in building confidence, independence, and overall well-being.

In addition to the run, participants took part in themed workshops, awareness activities, and discussion sessions designed to encourage dialogue, strengthen community connections, and promote a better understanding of intellectual disabilities. These shared experiences helped create an inclusive environment where everyone could participate and contribute.

Through the Green Run for Inclusion, Special Olympics Morocco reaffirms its commitment to building a more inclusive society where sport serves as a powerful tool for awareness, social inclusion, and community engagement. The event demonstrated that every step taken together brings us closer to a society built on solidarity, respect, and equal opportunities for all.
