Smiles and Serves: Our Tennis Tournament in Rabat!

From February 12th to 13th, we had a fantastic couple of days of sports at the Club des Cheminots in Rabat for our latest tennis tournament! It was a wonderful opportunity for 120 of our athletes to experience a real competition tailored to their levels, helping them pick up new technical skills and build their confidence on the court.

The event ran smoothly thanks to an incredible team. With 5 of our Special Olympics Morocco staff members, 5 dedicated volunteers, and 8 referees keeping a close eye on the matches, we made sure the athletes had a safe, structured, and highly encouraging environment to play in.

Beyond the medals and scores, this tournament was all about giving every single player the space to express themselves, step up their independence, and enjoy the true spirit of sportsmanship. Watching our athletes grow and give it their all with every match is exactly why we do this.
