Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics Training

On February 24th and 25th, 2026, Marrakech hosted a fantastic training session dedicated entirely to Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics. Organized by Special Olympics Morocco, this event brought together over 120 passionate individuals, including local coaches, dedicated chaperones from partner associations, and PE teachers from across the Marrakech-Safi region. Everyone arrived with a shared goal: to deepen their knowledge and find better ways to support our athletes.

To ensure complete learning experience, we split the training into two parts. We spent the first day focusing on theory at the Centre d’estivage des Douanes de Marrakech, which provided a great space for open discussions and reviewing foundational rules.

Next, it was time to move to the mats. The practical sessions took place at the Salle Princesse Lalla Mariem de Gymnastique, where the energy was amazing. Watching teachers and coaches try out the movements and refine their techniques was incredibly inspiring.

None of this would have been possible without our brilliant leaders. We were lucky to be guided by former gymnasts Hiba Chafik and Adnani Noura, both national and international coaches and judges. Their expertise left everyone ready to bring gymnastics to their local communities.
