Beach Volleyball Training

Sand, teamwork, and sport came together in Salé as Special Olympics Morocco hosted an engaging Beach Volleyball training session. Held at the Institut Royal de Formation des Cadres de la Jeunesse et des Sports – Moulay Rachid on February 26, 2026, this event brought together coaches and sports enthusiasts eager to master the specifics of this dynamic discipline.

To ensure everyone walked away with practical skills, the day was split into two comprehensive sections. We started with a detailed theoretical portion, diving deep into beach volleyball fundamentals, training methodologies, high-level performance optimization, and the unique rules of the sport. The atmosphere was highly collaborative, encouraging participants to share their own coaching experiences.

Next, everyone hit the sand for the practical session on the Institute’s beach volleyball courts. This hands-on part allowed the participants to instantly apply what they learned through technical drills and real-game simulations.

The session was incredibly educational, thanks to our expert instructor, Taha Kabbaj . As an IRFC graduate with a Master’s in high-level sports performance, an international player for the national team and FUS Rabat, and a certified Level 2 beach volley coach, Taha brought immense knowledge and passion, inspiring everyone to grow the sport locally.
