Unified Champion Schools activity at KGS Rabat
On June 18, 2026, Special Olympics Morocco organized a Unified Champion Schools activity at KGS Rabat, marking the launch of a new partnership dedicated to promoting inclusion through sport.
The event brought together more than 60 students from the school and 30 Special Olympics Morocco athletes for football matches and interactive activities designed to encourage teamwork, inclusion, and mutual understanding. Throughout the day, participants shared meaningful experiences that fostered respect, collaboration, and friendship.
Through the Unified Champion Schools program, Special Olympics Morocco works to create more inclusive school environments where young people with and without intellectual disabilities can learn, play, and grow together while promoting respect and equal opportunities.
This first activity with KGS Rabat marks the beginning of a promising collaboration between the two institutions. Special Olympics Morocco extends its sincere appreciation to the entire KGS Rabat team for their warm welcome, kindness, and commitment to building a more inclusive school community.
This project is supported by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ), whose support contributes to the development of Unified Champion Schools initiatives and the promotion of inclusive education in Morocco.
